BoardReady — Support

BoardReady, by Awesomeosity LLC

Email support@awesomeosity.com and a person will reply.

It helps to include your device model, your iOS version, and which writer, transcription and voice options you have selected in Settings. BoardReady has no account and sends us nothing, so we can't see your briefings; only you can share them.

Requirements

  • iOS 26 or later
  • Apple Intelligence is used when your device supports it. Without it, the app's built-in writer takes over and the app still works completely.
  • No account or sign-up. An internet connection is only needed for the outside services you choose to connect.

BoardReady Pro

BoardReady Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system as a monthly or yearly subscription with a seven-day free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple handles billing, cancellation and refunds.

  • Restore a purchase: in BoardReady, open Settings → License → Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so use the same one that bought Pro.
  • See the plans: Settings → License → View plans.
  • Manage or cancel a subscription: Settings → License → Manage subscription opens Apple's own subscription screen. You can also go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
  • Request a refund: reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your license status is shown in Settings → License: Perpetual, Evaluation (with its end date), Active, or Unlicensed.

If Pro lapses, nothing is lost: you can still read, share and play back every briefing. Generating, revising and creating new audio need Pro again.

My briefings aren't on my other device

Briefings sync through your own private iCloud, so both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud enabled.

Audio doesn't sync. A briefing opened on another device shows its text and offers to create the audio again.

Settings and API keys don't sync either. Your chosen provider, model, server address and voice stay on the device where you set them, and API keys are kept in that device's Keychain only. On a new device, enter them again in Settings.

Connecting Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible servers or ElevenLabs

Choose a writer in Settings → Intelligence → Provider, then use Test connection, which checks your key and fetches the list of models. Voice and Dictation have their own sections in Settings.

  • OpenRouter, OpenAI, Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM or your own server all go in the OpenAI-compatible slot. For OpenRouter, use the base URL https://openrouter.ai/api/v1. If an address leaves out /v1, the app retries once with it added.
  • One ElevenLabs key unlocks both ElevenLabs voices and ElevenLabs Scribe for cloud dictation.

These are optional and use an API key from your own account with that service. Requests go straight from your device to the service, under your account. Problems with a key, billing or rate limits belong with that service; we have no access to your account there.

If cloud transcription fails, the app transcribes the same audio on your device instead and tells you so.

My briefing runs a little long

That's deliberate. Scripts are written to run slightly over the length you chose rather than under, and the pace follows the voice speed set in Settings.
